Why Ofqual Matters
You now have two options of awarding bodies for your 1st aid certification.
Employers now have a legal requirement to undertake due diligence on their chosen training provider. They are now directly responsible for the quality and type of training they choose to undertake.
Regulated OFQUAL training are the only courses we offer to ensure client’s legal respoonsibilities.
Government Regulated
With Ofqual-regulated regulate training, you do not have to prove the competency of your chosen trainer. OFQUAL registration guarantees the required standards, meaning you meet your legal responsibilities.
No Awarding Body
Without Ofqual regulation, you are required to complete your own checks on the training organisation and their trainers.
If this is not done, you do not meet your legal responsibilities.

Meet Hannah
Hannah Leavold
Quality Assurance Officer
Hi, my name is Hannah. I am the Internal Quality Assurance Officer for Training 999.
My background is as a registered paramedic. My role is to ensure that training is delivered consistently. I make sure we meet the requirements of the national Awarding Bodies.
You might see me sitting in on a training course, as I am often there to ensure the quality of delivery.
I worked in physiotherapy before becoming a paramedic. I still work clinically on NHS frontline ambulances, in addition to working in admission avoidance.
My hobbies are anything related to keeping chickens and I like to keep fit by swimming and dog walking.

Blended learning offers you more flexibility. Complete part of your training online, reducing your time in the classroom. This means that less time is lost to travel and allows you to study the theory module at your own pace. Assessment may be through practical exercises or multiple choice tests.
