Forestry First Aid Course Overview
- This is an overview of what would be expected when taking your Forestry First Aid course + F, also known as F module.
- Deals with specific risks for those working outside.
- Suitable for those working in an outside enviroment, such as tree surgeons, farmers, and agriculture.
- Required for those working on Forestry Commission land.
- Be sure as an employer that the training provider has met a national standard and training in legal terms is suitable and sufficient (RQF)*.
- Duration: 2 Hours
- Delivery: Face-to-face onsite training
- Qualification: Forestry First Aid+F Level 3 (RQF). Accredited by an Ofqual Regulated awarding body. Meets requirements of The Forestry Commission First Aid Recommendations
What You Get
Forestry First Aid+F Level 3 (RQF)* is Accredited by an Ofqual Regulated awarding body. This course meets the requirements of The Forestry Commission First Aid Recommendations.
- Specialist catastrophic haemorrhage: Training using blood loss control products and equipment can be included on all First Aid courses and annotated on the Certificate for each successful learner.
- First Aid Training Pack for wach student containing CPR Face-shield, training bandage, triangular bandage, and gloves.
- Taught at your premises.
- Forestry First Aid+F Level 3 (RQF) certificate via PDF valid for 3 years**.
- Taught by a Paramedic.

Course Content
The First Aid+ F can be taught as a 2-hour course or as part of either a one-day Emergency First Aid course or First Aid at Work course.
We ensure participants will be safe by assessing their knowledge with multiple choice question papers and practical assessments.
The course includes
- Wounds and bleeding
- Extreme cold
- Extreme heat
- Treatment of Adder snake bites
- Catastrophic bleeding including direct pressure, tourniquets, haemostatic agents
- Crush injuries
- Lyme disease.

Course Cost
Forestry First Aid+F training can be delivered at your venue.
A max of 12 learners can be trained onsite for £765.60.
